It has a feed tray which is capable of holding 35 pages and a glass bed (like a traditional copying machine). -Copying (the LCD screen will walk you through copying. It's very simple and useful.) -Faxing: I've never (and probably won't ever) used it. -Printing at high speeds in monochrome. (black & white) I believe it specifies 21ppm on the box, regardless if that is correct, I can vouch for its speed although I haven't clocked it. -In brief: it can access a vast array of apps (who would of thought a printer would ever have apps :p), it has good energy saver settings, and literally everything on it, in my opinion, is very user friendly. -Mac Compatible, easy install on Windows or Mac. -Airprint READY, meaning it can print from iPads, iPhones, mobile devices. Part of it is on me, because I upgraded all of our Macs to Mavericks (OS X 10.9) about a month ago, and the software on the HP Mac Software CD only works on versions through OS X 10.8. I know this because I didn't follow my own protocol for installing new hardware on a new OS (don't trust the supplied software, go to the manufacturer's web site and look for updated software). I did try to install the printer from the supplied CD. It led me on, too, until it bombed out at about step 6 of 7. I had to uninstall everything before I could start over.Therefore, here are the instructions for locating and downloading the M127FW Mavericks driver (Mavericks "Software Update" won't do anything for you, since it technically doesn't "know" about the printer if you're trying to do everything wirelessly): - On HP's site, hover your cursor over "Support," click on "Drivers," and enter... As an addition to my home office, I find this HP M127FW printer perfectly suits my needs. As a Laserjet, this printer is faster and crisper than the other Inkjet printers I've had at home.The Monochrome (black and white) printing is all I need to print out my work documents and emails. The HP83A replacement toner cartridge costs $58 on ,Amazon and prints about 1500 pages -- less than .04 / page. (I find this an money saving bargain compared to my previously spending easily three times that amount for sets of four (black, magenta, cyan and yellow) relatively small, Inkjet cartridges. With color Inkjets, usually if any one of the colors run out - the printer doesn't work.) What makes the M127FW such a dream for me is that it doesn't waste expensive colored inks printing some company logos and color bands that I don't need or care about.
