However the packing list from Amazon's picture showed it also comes with 1 Base, 1 Adapter, and 2 association cards. I also received an email from Hamswan with an attached electronic version of user manual. Maybe, it is an upgraded version.Pro: Wireless Barcode Scanner is very light weight (only 4.7 oz). Comparing to my old SYMBOL P470, I could hold it for long period of time without any problem. Setup overall is super easy. Really as it claimed "Plug and Play". Simply plug the Sling into one of the computer's USB ports, and then it will do the rest for installing drivers and device. By the way, I am using Windows 7. I am really surprised with how high quality the scanner is given its price. I have purchased higher and scanners to use for personal and business use and this one is the best put together one I have to use. It really is very quick and picking up the barcode and sends it computer in virtually instant time. I really enjoy how long it lasts given a full charge. Using it for a decent amount of time during the day I was able to get more than a day's worth out of the full charge which is exceptional for these types of high quality scanners. Instructions are clearly for a different model, but the unit is Plug and Play, no need for instructions. Single click to wake it up, then point and scan. Was reading bar codes from about 10-12" away in full light. Nice beep on read. The USB charging cable is a snug fit, but it goes right in and charges from any standard USB port. The Receiver is a bit on the large side, but again, for the price, it works great. I received this product at a discounted price for my honest review. My opinions are my own. ** Update ** The Seller sent the proper instruction manual via email at the time of sale. Thanks! **Second Update** Tested this in a retail environment today, and couldn't stump this scanner at all!
